Los Angeles Chef D (LA Chef D)
1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”), and Los Angeles Chef D, also referred to as LA Chef D(“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”).

The Site and Services are intended primarily for users located in California, specifically the Los Angeles area. LA Chef D may provide catering services outside of this area and is available for travel upon request. Such services may be subject to additional fees, requirements, and applicable laws.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may only use the Site and Services for purposes expressly permitted by LA Chef D. You agree not to misrepresent your relationship with LA Chef D or imply affiliation without express written permission.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately at info@lachefd.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.
4. CONTENT YOU PROVIDE
You may submit feedback, reviews, or other content (“User Content”). You acknowledge that User Content may be visible to others.
By submitting User Content, you grant LA Chef D a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute such content without compensation or attribution.
User Content must comply with applicable laws and our Acceptable Use Policy. You are solely responsible for any loss or damage resulting from User Content that violates these Terms.
We reserve the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law and are not responsible for User Content submitted by other users. To report inappropriate User Content, contact info@lachefd.com.
5. OUR CONTENT
All content available on the Site—including text, graphics, images, videos, menus, recipes, and software (“Our Content”)—is owned by or licensed to LA Chef D and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit Our Content without prior written permission. You are granted a limited, non-commercial license to access and use the Site for personal purposes only.
You may not attempt unauthorized access to the Site, interfere with its functionality, or modify any content. Content is provided for general informational and culinary guidance only and does not constitute professional dietary, nutritional, or medical advice.
6. MEAL PREPARATION TERMS
Meal Structure & Customization
Our meal preparation services offer a flexible, build-your-meal format based on the options selected during ordering.
Bread selections are not customizable and will be provided based on current inventory.
All selections must be made during the ordering process. Any modifications or substitutions outside of the listed options are subject to availability and approval.
Ordering Minimum & Delivery Radius
Delivery Schedule
Meal preparation deliveries occur twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays to ensure freshness and quality.
Flexible Delivery Options
Weekly delivery schedules may be modified upon request. Customers may request once-weekly delivery or pause service by contacting info@lachefd.com. Requests are typically processed within 48 hours.
Order Cut-Off Times

Order Changes & Refunds
All weekly meal prep orders are final. Credits may be issued for quality concerns or missing items if reported within 48 hours of delivery. Photo documentation may be required.
Delivery Instructions
Customers must provide an accurate delivery address and any special instructions. Drivers do not enter homes. Meals will be left at the doorstep unless otherwise arranged. Recyclable delivery bags should be left at the doorstep on delivery days for pickup.
Dietary Restrictions & Allergies
(Meal Prep, Catering, & Cooking Classes)
Customers are solely responsible for clearly disclosing all dietary restrictions, food allergies, sensitivities, preferences, and any medical or religious dietary requirements at the time of placing an order or booking any Services, including meal preparation, catering services, and all cooking classes (one-on-one, group, and virtual).
Los Angeles Chef D takes dietary needs seriously and follows industry-standard food safety and handling practices. While reasonable and good-faith efforts will be made to accommodate properly disclosed dietary restrictions, the possibility of unintended allergen exposure cannot be completely eliminated due to factors such as ingredient sourcing and handling prior to receipt.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LA Chef D shall not be liable for any adverse reactions, health issues, injuries, losses, or damages arising from or related to a customer’s failure to disclose dietary restrictions or allergies prior to order placement or booking confirmation.
By proceeding with an order or booking any Services, you acknowledge, understand, and accept full responsibility for communicating all relevant dietary information in advance.

7. CATERING REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
At Los Angeles Chef D, each catering event is carefully planned in advance, including ingredient sourcing, menu preparation, and staffing. To ensure quality service and proper planning, the following policies apply to all catering bookings.
Non-Refundable Deposit Policy
Cancellation & Refund Schedule (Remaining Balance Only)
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. This policy applies to all catering services. LA Chef D reserves the right to enforce this policy for all bookings.
8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. LA Chef D is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
9. SITE MANAGEMENT
We reserve the right to monitor, manage, restrict, or terminate access to the Site to protect our rights and ensure proper functionality.
10. MODIFICATIONS & AVAILABILITY
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or Services at any time without notice. We are not liable for temporary interruptions or unavailability.
11. DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Site and Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. LA Chef D disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. TERM & TERMINATION
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Site or Services. LA Chef D may suspend or terminate access at its discretion without notice.
13. MOBILE APPLICATIONS
If Services are accessed via a mobile application, you are granted a limited, revocable license subject to these Terms and applicable app store rules.
14. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Electronic communications satisfy legal notice requirements. These Terms constitute the entire agreement. No waiver is effective unless in writing. LA Chef D may assign its rights. No partnership or agency relationship is created. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.
